WESSON & KIMBER

Wesson started riding when he was 2 but just got into racing ​during the 2022 season and did great! His sister, Kimber ​would tag along to the track and her love soon grew to enjoy ​the sport just as much as her brother!

Both kids work hard on and off the track at home, in school & ​in other sports. Wesson plays football, Kimber loves to cheer ​and dance, and the two of them also enjoy riding their BMX ​bikes, camping, and fishing.

MOM - Joslyn Orsik

The one who started it all! ​Mom grew up racing & really ​wanted to see us out there! ​She is the organizer of all ​things from start to finish ​and the one who is there ​when dad can't be!

what do we have ​planned?

Training

We are currently seeking training options for ​2024. We would like to attend atleast on ​session per month.

Practice

our parents plan to continue taking us out to ​the local tracks on Wednesday’s and ​Thursday’s. We also plan to hit the open ​weekend practices on Saturday’s and we are ​getting a membership at Sandusky Valley ​Riders to be able to get more seat time.

Racing

The calendar is out and it looks like mom has us ​set up to race something nearly every weekend ​around North East Ohio. We plan to race ​VIVAM, OMA and AMA this year.

what do we have ​planned?

Projects

our parents are working hard to convert our ​enclosed trailer into a toy hauler to make it ​easier for us when traveling and give us some ​place to stay so we can start racing at tracks ​that are further away. This project should be ​completed by the end of November 2023.

gear & Bikes

This year we would like to be able to purchase ​more protective gear as we started with the ​basics in 2022 and have just been building ​slowly. Aside from protective gear we would ​like to try to get a KTM 65cc for Wesson to start ​on and we would also like to focus on adding ​things to the current bikes (upgrades & ​maintenance items)

What does the ​sponsorship cover?

All sponsors will help create a safe and fun racing experience for the Orsik kids.

The funds raised during the 2024 sponsorship search will be used for ​membership costs, practice fees, race fees, bike parts / maintenance, travel ​expenses, converting our trailer to a toy hauler, and most importantly, protective ​gear.

Wesson Orsik

My motocross journey began at the beginning of ​the 2022 season and I have been hooked ever ​since! Riding and going to the races is something ​that my family and I love to do together. I love ​being at the track multiple times a week and I am ​working hard to improve my riding form and ​technique. With my focus and determination over ​the past 2 years, I feel that I have grown a lot. ​Off the track my dad has been working to show ​me all the things about maintenance and ​responsibility for caring for my machine. I am a ​kid that is always appreciative of the love and ​support of my family, friends and sponsors.

Hitting the track multiple times a week to ​watch my brother just wasn't fun for me ​anymore, I was ready to gear up and get out ​there with the boys! Mid-way through the ​2022 race season my mom and dad got me ​a stacyc to get started and I was hooked. ​When winter came they bought me a PW for ​me to get some seat time on that over the ​winter so I was ready for the outdoor ​season. Once outdoors came I was eager to ​continue moving up so I am now on a KTM ​mini and loving it!

I am very independent, creative and a loving ​little lady! I love to play, ride my bicycle or ​scooter and am part of a cheer and dance ​team and recently took on wrestling.
